Aperture and Cameras and IMDb
If any of you have been following the community posts recently, then you would know the video that was supposed to be done this week, i.e. today, when this will be posted, was Aperture, Apple’s own version of Lightroom. The video is a bit longer than usual, like 19 minutes. Not every week I’m able to put out a 19-minute fully edited video, and that’s why the shorter What's Going On With Spotlight video is coming out today. Also taking note of the title for this post, yeah, IMDB. I’m putting a lot of the mini docs I’ve made onto IMDb to 1. get more stuff on there, and 2. to get more editing credits in. Yeah, I know I also write and do the sound/VO for all of them too, but like, I started this for the editing, and I like editing stuff the most.
As for other things I’m happening to be doing in my life, not much; reading a lot of books. I picked up three books today: Blood Meridian, Harlan Ellison’s greatest hits, and Paradise Lost from Milton.
As for random video stuff, the reason I use the dancing Spiderman gif is because of copyright claims. It tends not to set off Content ID, and i like the gif. I’m not going to explain it for the next few weeks, so I can make the separate video about why i use the thing and talk about its origins. I’d like to spread out of doing Apple stuff, slightly, and older stuff on the Internet is something i take interest in, and it’s somewhat in the same niche.
Until next time, true believers…
